Gateway Registration for Hollywood Trip

Treasurer Report:
- April presented.
- Balance in accounts as of 4/30/19 $261,454.55. The bulks is monies in student accounts. The band has $59,000 available in the general fund.
VP Report
- Quota payments up to date through 5/12/19 includes April Hoagies and April Gertrude Hawk, Little Caesars, Sagra Beans. Cost of New York trip was deducted.
- May payment for band trip due. Quota accounts should have a minimum of $1180 (Deposit $325, March $285, April $285, May $285, total $1180)
- To sign up for on-line Quota go to the website and click on the Quota tab, fill out form

- 6/5 Graduation – Orchestra and Pipes report at 5p
- 6/6 Remaining uniforms are returned
- Seniors- in order to walk at graduation you must have returned uniforms and all components and paid up for Band Concert Tickets.
- Band Leadership selection is being finalized and will be announced on Friday 5/17.
- Dates for July uniform fittings are being coordinated and will be announced as early as possible.
- 8/5 Band Camp starts at 8am
New Business
- Slate of LHSGB&OPC officers announced. Each position only had one nominee. Shawn Bobyak moved to approve slate, Silagh White seconded. Slate was unanimously approved by all in attendance. The 2019-2020 officers are:

Tag Along Information
An information session was held on May 21 for people interested in a Tag Along trip to see the Grenadiers performing in Hollywood in November. - January & February reports presented and reviewed.
VP Report
- Quota accounts up to date with trip payments through 3/9/19
- NYC trip was deducted
- Seniors who want to give remaining quota funds to another student or to the General fund need
to email VP & Treasurer. Must provide student name if being given to another student. - Payments that were made into account can be refunded.
- Monies in quota from fundraising cannot be refunded.
- At the time of the March meeting students going on the California trip should have $610 in their
account ($325.00 deposit and $285.00 due on 3/12/19). - Upcoming fundraisers – WATCH Website.

Directors Report:
- Mr. Frank shared 4 students went to Region Band. All 4 made it to All State Band Festival in
Pittsburgh 4/13. - Pit orchestra rehearsals are in progress for LHS show – dates of show 4/11-13.
- Mr. Long shared Ty Fry and Harry Richards from Red Hot Chili Pipers in this week working with
students. - Red Hot Chilli Pipers 3/14 at State Theatre. Orbital Drums will do a street performance before
concert. - Parade 3/16 report time 12n, location 7 th and Broad, step off 1p.
- 3/19 Foundation Dinner – Pipes, drums & fanfare at Sands report time 445p- done ~630p.
- 3/22 Nitschman Jazz Band.
- 3/23 Haiti Health Trust 6-7p report time 430pm –Steel Club Hellertown.
- 3/26 & 3/28 Dress rehearsals 6p-9pm for Band Concert.
New Business:
- Proposed Amendment to Bylaws. Wording was put on overhead.
- Will be voted on at April 2019 meeting.
Old Business:
- Still need volunteers for Band Concert – sign up genius under events on LHSGBOPC website.

Thompson’s meat stick fundraiser
Thompson’s Meat Market in Walnutport is teaming up with the Grenadiers on this new fundraiser. The meat sticks are sold in nine delicious flavors (varieties listed below) and come in 1/2 lb, vacuum sealed packages. There are 4-5 sticks per package. The price is $5 per package, student quota is $1.50 per package.
Orders are due by midnight on Saturday, April 20th. All orders must be placed online using the online form. NO late orders will be accepted. Delivery will be on Saturday, May 11 (time is to be announced) in the LHS cafeteria.
