Treasurer’s Report 11.01.2025-11.30.2025

Approval of Minutes from 10-14-2025:
Marilyn called the meeting to order. She thanked everyone that supported the band throughout marching season by donating items, basket raffle items, etc.
She asked for approval on last month’s minutes. A motion to approve the minutes was made by Annalisa Kelly-Cavotta. Second by Mike Calagna. Overall approval by the full organization. (Motion passed)
Report from VP of Treasurer (Teresa):
- October’s financials (Monthly report 10/1 – 10/31):
- Starting balance:$96,025.63
- Ending balance: $89,308.30
- Income: $18,252.27
- Expenses: $24,969.60
- Bingo brought in $5,300.
- There was fraud in our bank account.
- One of the debit cards was cloned. When the books were being reconciled, there were a bunch of $0 holds. The card was cancelled but $572.29 of charges did go through. Because the card is associated with a commercial account, we are not protected and will need to pay the charges.
- We are taking steps to prevent this in the future: We will close the debit cards and open credit cards that are protected.
- Approval of Treasurer’s Report
A motion to approve was made by Yi-Wen Lai. Second by Jacqui Fortsch. Overall approval by the full organization. (Motion passed)

- Take advantage of the grocery cards (Weis, Shoprite, Giant). This is money you are paying out anyway that adds up over time.
- Dine to Donate: The next one is on Wednesday, November 19 at Apollo Grille from 3 to close. There will be extras there like raffle baskets.
- Lottery Calendars sale just ended.
- Payments for London from Student Account:
- Notice from Steph on BandApp goes out on the 5th of the month (for the following month)
- Let Steph know by the 10th of the month by email (needs to be in writing).
- The check is written on the 11th so it has time to be mailed.
- Double Good Popcorn is coming. This is a quick one (4 day turn around). Before December 11th, download the app and enter the code to be ready for the sale.

- Upcoming Concerts:
- Jazz Band: T/W at 7am (We may need another day.)
- 27 students are going to a Jazz Master Class at Moravian.

Students will get hours.
- London Update
- Our calendar is booked.
- We will start rehearsals and meetings in January.
No during the day rehearsals.
We will need to design a floor show (gym with no lines) - We are starting conversations with Dan to solidify payments for Land only and modify it in their system.
- Payments: Questions and anything about payments go through London Band Week (Dan). If you are having a hard time reaching him, reach out and we can help you get in contact with them. Payments go through them, not us.
- Make sure you are getting your passports taken care of.

- Don’t buy instruments from Amazon.
- Orchestra: If your student has a personal viola, cello, bass, etc. look into a humidifier ($25/$20)
- Reeds: Get a reed case (can get this on Amazon)
Get the reeds from a music store - If your child wants to go to school for music let the directors know so they can help them prepare.
