Band hoagies are a long-standing fundraising tradition for the Grenadier Band and Orchestra. This sale provides a frequent and regular source of income for both the individual student and the band as a whole. Each hoagie sells for $4.00 – of that, $2.00 goes directly into the student’s quota, and a variable portion goes into the band general fund.
Four varieties are offered: Regular with and without onions, and Turkey with and without onions. Regular hoagies contain ham, bologna, salami and American cheese; Turkey hoagies contain turkey breast and American cheese. All types come with a separate baggie of lettuce and tomato (these hoagies do not get soggy! A great selling point.) and an Italian dressing packet. It is extremely important to place your order on the dates listed below so that enough supplies are ordered.
NO EXTRAS: In an effort to streamline fundraisers and reduce waste, we will no longer be taking orders for extras on the day of the sale (we will also not account for extras in the ordering for hoagies, so we will only have enough product to make the amount of hoagies ordered).
We begin making hoagies at 6:30 AM on the 2nd Saturday of every month in the Liberty cafeteria. All students who participate in the sale MUST help make hoagies and MUST have an adult partner. If there is a scheduling problem, a substitute must be found.
Yes, it’s early, but people bring great snacks for breakfast, and we do have a good time once everyone wakes up a little.
No leaving or taking hoagies before ALL orders are filled and confirmed. We will not have any extra inventory so we need to make sure all orders are accurate before people can start leaving with a potentially incorrect order.
Clearances must be completed by any adult making hoagies with their son/daughter. This applies to any adult related to the student. All clearances must be given to Mr. Frank.
