Hello! I know you have all been patiently awaiting information and music, and we thank you for that! We are doing the final touches on the schedule and, after countless meetings, feel confident that we will have the best and safest plan for summer band. Rehearsals will begin on Monday, August 10th at 8am!
Below are two links that will get the ball rolling. More detailed information about summer rehearsals, as well as the yearly LHSGB information packet, will be coming out in the very near future.
To get everybody started, we are asking that you take a look at the two links provided.
#1 – Google Form – Member Information
This form will be used to get contact information, double check section rosters, and to compile a list of incoming students who need school-owned instruments. Please fill this out completely and submit. Thank you!
#2 – Music and Part Assignments
We are loading the music onto a Google Drive, which will allow you to access the parts you need. In this drive is a file entitled “LHSGB Part Assignments”. Please open this file first, find your name, and find your part assignment. This initial list will be a starting point, but is always subject to change.
Each musical selection has a separate folder. Open each piece, find your assigned part, and you can download or print the part. In the event that you are unable to print, please reach out to one of the directors so we know how many copies to have in August.
Not all of the music will be loaded at one time, so be sure to check the Google Drive periodically for more music. There is also a chance there could be some missing parts. At this point, work on the music that is available to you and we will provide the missing parts when we can retrieve them from the school.
