November 17, 2013 posting:
Trip meeting – December 10 at 7 pm in the band room
On Tuesday, December 10 at 7 pm, we will hold a pre-trip Tag-A-Long meeting for everyone who is registered to go. It will be in the band room – hope to see you there.
We will discuss the final itinerary, when the buses leave from Liberty for JFK for each flight, California bus assignments and any other questions you may have. Please email all questions to us at email@example.com by December 2 if you can.
If you miss the meeting, the final itinerary and all other documents and notes will be posted the next day on the band website under Trips > Rose Parade Tag-A-Longs
To help you – the band is selling appropriately colored Rose Parade clothing. All items will have OUR 2014 logo on the left chest. To see all the items check out the band website at http://lhsgbopc.org and click on the Fall Clothing Order link.
Please order by November 22, and I will deliver to you at the Tag-A-Long meeting. To order, please email Bob Wascura at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order and size, and then mail your payment to him ASAP. He will give you the address. Payment must be received to order – clothing is NOT included in the cost of the trip.
The Adult Hoodie or Full Zip Hooded sweatshirts are the appropriate color, and should feel pretty comfy at 6 am on the first day of 2014!

After our 8.27.2013 Meeting
Thanks to everyone who could make it to the meeting. We have posted (above) an updated itinerary and Trip Information for all of you. These are the documents handed out at the meeting. Also, remember to sign up for the additional trip insurance IF YOU WANT IT by August 31. The trip comes with basic insurance coverage
As always, if you have questions about the MyGateway website, please email email@example.com or contact Gateway directly. Payments are due at the beginning of each month. We expect to have the final price posted before the last payment is due.
ALL Flight Groups and California Bus assignments have been made. When you log into MyGateway, click on your passenger record, and and look in the purple box on the top right for the Flight Group and Motorcoach assignments. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to change your assignment – we only have seats left on FG 5. There are a few seats available on each CA Bus for switching if necessary.
We will have one additional meeting closer to the trip – watch for updates here AND on the MyGateway site.
Update 8.18.2013 – Meeting on August 27 at 7 pm in the LHS Cafeteria for all Tag-A-Longs
Please plan to attend a meeting for Tag-A-Longs – we will review the Tag-A-Long flight assignments, discuss some insurance information and answer your questions.

If you have a preference for one of the following flight groups, please email that preference to firstname.lastname@example.org by 8 pm East Coast time on August 15, 2013. Tell us the names of everyone in your group to include in the Flight Group. Otherwise, we will assign.
BUSES to JFK for each group will leave from Liberty approx 5 hours before the flights. We do NOT have flight times for the students – if you must leave before your student, plan to drop your student with one of their flight group members.
Flight Group 1 – leave JFK 12/28 at 9 am, return 1/2/14 at 4 pm/arrive 12:30 am at JFK on 1/3
Flight Group 2 – leave JFK 12/28 at noon, return 1/2/14 at 1:30 pm/arrive at JFK 10:05 pm
Flight Group 3 – leave JFK 12/28 at 3:30 pm, return 1/2/14 at 11:15 am/arrive at JFK 8 pm
Flight Group 4 – leave JFK 12/28 at 3:30 pm, return 1/2/14 at 1:30 pm/arrive at JFK 10:05 pm
Flight Group 5 – leave JFK 12/28 at 6:15 pm, return 1/2/14 at 4 pm/arrive 12:30 am at JFK on 1/3
Land Only travelers – we are seated in Area One at 430 W Colorado for the parade. We reserved through www.sharpseating.com. More information on BandFest and Disneyland dates will be confirmed soon.
Update 7.9.2013 – Payment Due Dates and Cancellation information
Following is the information for payment due dates. You may make your payments online or mail the payment to Gateway so they have it by the indicated due date. You should log in to Gateway to see what your payment amount is.
Checks should be made out to ‘Gateway Music Festivals & Tours’. The memo field should ‘Liberty HS Tag-A-Long’ and the names of the passengers included in the payment. Mail the check(s) to:

Update 4.16.2013 – Roommate Requests
Please make sure you have updated the Roommate Request field in MyGateway for EACH passenger, so that we can determine the right number of rooms. If you have done so already, thank you!
Also, if your deposit is not paid by May 1, you may be dropped from the trip. If you are paying by check, your payment needs to be at Gateway by May 1, not just postmarked by May 1.
There was an error on the initial deposit information indicating a $150 per person deposit. The correct amount is $250 per person for “land” OR “land and air” packages.
If it is not possible for you to pay the entire $250 per passenger at this time, Gateway will allow you to pay $150 now with the remaining $100 payable by May 1. If you choose this two part payment option for the deposit, you MUST make both parts of the deposit by check.
Subsequent payments may be done online with a credit card or by check, following the instructions in the Registration Information document above.
