Liberty High School band director Greg MacGill to retire

Read this great story from Lehigh Valley Live!

2012, 2011 and 2010 Lehigh Valley Music Awards -Best Marching Band: Liberty H.S. Grenadier Marching Band

More kudos for Liberty High School’s very own Grenadier Band:  Music fans throughout the Lehigh Valley have again voted the LHSGB as the region’s “Best Marching Band”.  The honor was announced at the Lehigh Valley Music Awards ceremony on Dec. 2, 2012 at Steel Stacks.  The Grenadier Band remains sole winner of the award, three years running, since the inception of the “Best Marching Band” category by the LVMA back in 2010.  The old adage, “You’re never a star in your own back yard”, obviously does not apply to the LHSGB.  This most recent honor comes on the heels of last month’s announcement that the Grenadier Band will perform at the 2014 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade.  It’s always great to know that our band is appreciated not only abroad, but right here at home, in Bethlehem and throughout the Lehigh Valley!   Thank you to the Lehigh Valley Music Awards for reaffirming the talent and accomplishment of our Grenadier Band; and continued congratulations to all 265 members of the Liberty High School Grenadier Band… Job well done!
